M y work and research focus on the energy transition and centres on economic, finance, and management. My current research projects included exploring the energy transition in Indonesia and comparisons with other countries around the world. I have other research projects ongoing with team members in Indonesia and India (with International Institute for Sustainable Development – IISD and Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center – PYC). I have presented my research globally around the world in Europe, Latin America, Middle East, North America, Africa and Asia. I have experience working with many different types of stakeholders, from international institutions, energy companies and local stakeholders and this stakeholder analysis is another area of focus of mine. Having to focus on the energy transition globally, my research area has been expanded to the environmental and energy sustainability.
C urrently I am an Energy Policy Consultant at the International Institution for Sustainable Development (IISD) focusing on energy and environmental taxation (both fossil fuel and renewable energy) and policy, as well as energy transition issues. Currently, I am also a Visiting Lecturer at Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) in Mozambique. In the past, I have extensive work experience from across the energy sector, working for international energy companies (CNOOC and Husky), global accountants and consultancies (EY) and international institutions (the Energy Charter Secretariat-ECS).
